Nodeon Asgard Analysis, a cloud-based traffic data management system, is designed to solve this problem. It provides a unified view of the data and enables efficient data distribution within the organization and to third parties.

Real-time and independent traffic situational awareness

Nodeon Asgard Edge is an edge intelligence solution that transforms data from traffic measurement devices into a comprehensive traffic situational awareness, enabling open and real-time sharing of data.

Asgard Edge facilitates the simultaneous transmission of traffic data and situation overviews from traffic light-controlled intersections to traffic databases, smart city solutions, and digital twins. This is done in real time and independent of traffic light suppliers.

  • Device-independent (supports smartmicro radars, Comark 2D lidar detection devices, camera + AI recognition)
  • Web interface for measurement management
  • Extensive device platform support: can be installed on any x64/arm64 architecture
  • Integration with traffic light control units: via Asgard Edge through RSMP or separate cabling
  • Harmonized data model (uniform traffic data from all measurement devices)
  • Open distribution of traffic data: multiple protocol options (REST, web socket, MQTT) or local storage (USB)

C-ITS-services for end-users

In the future, vehicle drivers will receive a significant amount of new, valuable, and real-time information about the operation of the traffic system. This will enhance safety and smoothness in transportation.
