NIS2 Directive applies to the owners of ICT networks
Data networks Infrastructure and digitalization News Smart City Smart Mobility

The current global safety environment has a significant impact on the cybersecurity of critical ICT networks (roadside technological networks). From a legislative perspective, the upcoming EU-wide NIS2 Directive will guide efforts to ensure the level of cybersecurity.
The NIS2 Directive designates the owners and operators of intelligent transport systems as essential entities, as these systems play a critical role in the functioning of society.
The measures mandated by NIS2 aim to establish an operational model that protects network and information systems, as well as their physical environment, from security incidents.
In practice, security-critical entities must implement proportionate technical, operational, and organizational risk management and reporting measures in accordance with the NIS2 Directive to safeguard their network and information systems.
If you need assistance in defining the requirements arising from the NIS2 Directive or implementing the necessary cybersecurity measures for ICT networks and their information systems, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
